My sister knows good pizza…

I used to think that the only pizza worth eating in Rochester was Pontillo’s. In fact, for much of my youth it was the ONLY pizza that existed in Rochester. I am happy to announce — I was wrong– WAY WRONG. Great Pizza — and fascinating servers — await you at ACME Bar &Pizza. Although I am sorry to report that they no longer have “Magic Hat Jinx” Beer on tap. I have no idea if that beer is any good— but with a name like that how can you go wrong.
Here are our top five pizza places:
- ACME — best NY-style thin crust
- Cam’s — Chick Wing Pizza KA!
- Pontillo’s – Nostalgic favorite (and responsible for JAY’s anchovie addiction)
- Mark’s – Open late for the “after party”
- Great Northern Pizza — Black Bean Taco Pizza Rocks!
